Measles Exposure Alert – Maricopa County


The Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) has confirmed measles exposure at multiple public locations in Gilbert, Arizona during early January. Individuals who visited the locations listed below during the specified dates and times may have been exposed and should monitor for symptoms for 21 days following exposure.

Salt River Public Health recommends infants aged 6-11 months to get early MMR vaccination.

Identified Exposure Locations:

Hale Theatre Arizona – Gilbert
• Exposure occurred on select dates in early January
• Monitor for symptoms through January 30, 2026

Symptoms to Watch For:
• Fever
• Cough
• Runny nose
• Red or watery eyes
• Rash that usually starts on the face

If You Develop Symptoms:
• Stay home and avoid contact with others
• Call ahead before visiting a medical provider
