Council Public Hearing – Ṣegoi Oidag Subdivision

THE COMMUNITY COUNCIL HAS SCHEDULED A COMMUNITY HEARING. THIS PROJECT IS ON TRIBAL LAND. WE INVITE ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND LANDOWNERS WITH OWNERSHIP INTEREST WITHIN A ½ MILE RADIUS OF THIS PROJECT TO ATTEND.

The Engineering & Construction Services Department (“ECS”) is requesting:
1. Proposed Designation of Land Use (“DOLU”), (2026-DOO1),
a) ECS request approval to allow for the development of a housing subdivision on 36.885 acres, more or less, of tribal land.
2. Planned Development Overlay District, (26-ZN-02)
a) Proposed modifications to base zoning standards to enhance the daily living experience with shared amenities and open space.
3. Proposed Right of Way Easement
a) Requesting easements within the subdivision for road and utility improvements.
4. Approval of native language street names
These requests are for the construction, maintenance, and operation of the Ṣegoi Oidag subdivision on tribal land, located on the Northwest corner of Chaparral Road and Dobson Road, Being part of Section 18, Township 2 North, Range 5 East, of the Gila and Salt River Meridian, Maricopa County, Arizona.
