Stay cool, stay active, and stay healthy this summer!
SRPMIC Public Health – Diabetes Prevention Services is excited to invite all Community Members and Tribal Employees to join our 2026 Beat the Heat Challenge! Whether you’re taking your first steps toward fitness or are already on your wellness journey, this challenge is the perfect way to stay motivated and have fun while staying active in the cool, welcoming environment of the Ske:g Himdag Ki Fitness Center.
🔥Why Join the Challenge?
Regular physical activity can help lower your risk of Type 2 diabetes, support weight management, boost energy, and improve overall well‑being.
The goal?
150 minutes of activity each week — and we’ll help you get there!
Choose the option that works best for you:
• Option 1: Attend 3 Diabetes Prevention Group Exercise Classes + 2 additional workouts (at home or at the Fitness Center)
• Option 2: Attend 5 Group Exercise Classes during the week
Both options help you stay on track while giving you the flexibility you need.
