🚧PIMA ROAD AND CHAPARRAL ROAD INTERSECTION CLOSURE
📍SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11 TO MONDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2026

Description of Work: The intersection of Pima and Chaparral roads will be closed in all directions from 12:01 am Sunday, October 11 to 5:00 am Monday, October 12, for final paving.
Crews will conduct asphalt and concrete paving.
The closure will be in place 24 hours a day during this timeframe.

Detour: Travelers should use Indian School Road or McDonald Drive as an alternate east/west route and Hayden Road or Loop 101 as an alternate north/south route to get around the closure.

Access to the Walmart shopping plaza will be maintained off of Chaparral Road and Pima Road. See map above for which driveways will be open and closed.
Construction activities will produce increased noise. Crews will take steps to reduce noise impacts as much as possible.
