THOMAS ROAD AND PIMA ROAD INTERSECTION PARTIAL CLOSURE
OCTOBER 19 to 27, 2025

Description of Work: The intersection of Chaparral Road and Pima Road will be partially closed from October 19-27 for storm drain installation.
Improvement work will take place from 1 p.m. Sunday, October 19 to 5 a.m. Monday, October 27. Work will occur 24 hours a day during this timeframe.

North- and southbound traffic on Pima Road will still be open during this timeframe. Motorists traveling westbound on Thomas Road towards Pima Road must make a left or right turn onto Pima Road. Those traveling eastbound on Thomas Road towards Pima Road cannot access Pima Road during this partial intersection closure.

Motorists traveling on Thomas Road can take Hayden Road, Loop 101 or 92nd Street to either Indian School Road or McDowell Road, to Pima Road to access Thomas Road beyond the closure.

Construction activities will produce noise during day and nighttime hours. Crews will take steps to reduce noise impacts as much as possible.
