ROAD CLOSED FOR PAVING
Indian School Road from Pima Road to 89th Street
September 5 to 8, 2025
Description of Work: Indian School Road will be closed from Pima Road to 89th Street from September 5-8 for paving operations. Crews will also be making traffic signal improvements at the Indian School Road intersection. The eastern side of this intersection will be closed.
Road improvement work will take place from 7 p.m. Friday, September 5 to 5 a.m. Monday, September 8.
Motorists will be able to travel north- and southbound through the Indian School Road and Pima Road intersection; however, traffic to and from Loop 101 will be restricted. Motorists can take Pima Road to either Thomas Road or 89th Street to access Loop 101.
The eastbound driveway off of Indian School Road into the Piipaash Shell gas station will be closed. Motorists can access the gas station from north- and southbound Pima Road.
Crews will conduct asphalt removal, paving, and striping of the intersection. Construction activities will produce noise during day and nighttime hours. Crews will take steps to reduce noise impacts as much as possible.
