- A cold front will move through the region this afternoon bringing scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms to AZ, with better chances across south-central AZ. A few isolated thunderstorms will also be possible with lightning, gusty winds, and small hail possible hazards.
- Gusty winds with a 30% chance of speeds locally in excess of 40 mph will surge down the Lower Colorado River this afternoon and evening and Friday
- Dry conditions return region wide on Friday.
- Below normal temperatures to end the week, with some locations expected to reach the freezing mark on both
- Friday and Saturday morning. Temperatures will gradually warm this weekend through the first half of next week, and go back above normal by Sunday.
