The Community Council has scheduled a Community Hearing. The SRPMIC Planning Services Division of the Community Development Department is proposing a General Plan Map Amendment Resolution and Zoning Text/Map Amendment Ordinance.

• The General Plan Map provides allocation and distribution of different land uses in the Community. Application #26-GPA-01 is proposing land use changes to Tribal owned lands to allow for potential future Community government projects. One land use alignment change is proposed to allotted land with permission from the landowners as the property has split land use designations.
• The Zoning Ordinance provides standards and regulations that apply to land and buildings in the Community. Application #26-ZN-01 is proposing to repeal and replace the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map, Chapter 25 of the SRPMIC Code of Ordinances. The Ordinance was updated to support community projects and design flexibility, modify land use permissions, provide clear application procedures, accommodate technical changes, and address development trends. The Zoning Map includes changes to Tribal owned lands and one allotted land to comply with the proposed General Plan Map.
