Assistant Community Manager
Blessing McAnlis-Vasquez

An enrolled member of the Salt River Indian Community (SRPMIC), Ms Blessing McAnlis-Vasquez serves as an Assistant Community Manager for the SRPMIC.

Blessing’s tenure with the Community is 20 years, 10 years with the gaming enterprises, and 10 with the tribal government.

In her role as Assistant Community Manager and under the direction of the Community Manager, Blessing directs and coordinates departments of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community as assigned. This includes monitoring and coordinating the operations of assigned departments; developing actions and procedures that encourage interdepartmental cooperation and reducing barriers between departments. Along with the other Assistant Community Managers, she provides visible leadership presence Community-wide to promote and encourage innovations and services which support the strategic vision of the Council.

Blessing has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Arizona State and a Masters degree in Organizational/Business Leadership from the Grand Canyon State University.

Blessing is married, has 3 children, and one four legged baby named Gigi. She also enjoys baking, binge watching baking shows and all things Disney.
