Cultural Sensitivity Training

For Construction Professionals and other Ground Disturbing Contractors and Staff

This training is designed to prepare and educate all construction, mining, maintenance and other personnel that work within the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC or Community) to protect the rich cultural heritage and artifacts of the O’odham and Piipaash people who have thrived on this land for time immemorial.

The training is available via electronic learning, for ease of use by you and your staff.

Please note that this training is required under the mandates of Salt River Ordinance 19-3 that requires the preservation of the cultural history of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.

This training is managed by the SRPMIC Community Development Department.
