Salary Range: $79,257 – $108,982
After Police Academy Graduation: $83,219
Extra Duty Rate: $80/hour
Uniform Allowance: $1,700/year
Shift Differential: $2 – $4/hour

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age by completion of Academy
- U.S. Citizen
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License
- Completed SRPMIC Application and Arizona P.O.S.T. application
Required Documents
- Certified birth certificate
- Social Security card
- High school diploma, GED, or sealed high school transcripts
- Valid Arizona driver’s license
- DD-214 Form (Member 4), if applicable for military service
- Arizona P.O.S.T. Personal History Application
- Waiver of Liability and Release Form
Important: The Arizona P.O.S.T. application must be notarized and complete at the time of submission. No exceptions.
Physical Agility Assessment
Applicants must meet the following minimum passing standards (regardless of age or gender):
