Lena Jackson-Eckert
Lena Jackson-Eckert serves as an Assistant Community Manager for the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. She is a Community member who was raised the majority of her life in the Community.
Lena’s service tenure with the Community is 13 years, 6 as an Assistant Community Manager.
In her role as Assistant Community Manager and under the direction of the Community Manager, she directs and coordinates departments of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community as assigned. This includes monitoring and coordinating the operations of assigned departments; developing actions and procedures that encourage interdepartmental cooperation and reducing barriers between departments. Along with the other Assistant Community Managers, she provides visible leadership presence Community-wide to promote and encourage innovations and services which support the strategic vision of the Council.
Lena has a Bachelor of Science degree in Justice Studies and a Master’s in Legal Studies from the Arizona State University.
Lena is married with one grown daughter who lives in California.
