If your property is being held by the Salt River Police Department, the following steps must be followed to schedule a release.

Step 1: Schedule an Appointment

All property releases are by appointment only.

Step 2: Provide Valid Identification

A valid government-issued photo ID is required.

Step 3: Owner Must Claim Property

Only the owner may claim their property.
If the owner is incarcerated or unavailable, a representative must present a Power of Attorney or a Notarized Letter authorizing them to retrieve the property.

Step 4: Show Proof of Ownership

Proof of ownership is required for all property releases, including items classified as found property.

Step 5: Bring the Tag Number (if known)

If possible, bring the tag number associated with the property. This helps speed up the release process.
